Mediterranian Inspirations by Gin Mare

GIN MARE, the first super premium gin authentic Mediterranean, organized the first international competition of Mixology Mediterranean Inspirations, which will select the best European bartender knows how to interpret, in the creation of 3 cocktails's famous concept of Mare Nostrum, which encompasses particular lifestyle, cuisine, climate and a sense of individual escape from this region.

The final will take place in Vila Mare (Ibiza) between 1 and 3 September to meet the nine bartenders finalists, including two selected participants will meet in the semifinals organized in the UK with two finalists competing Spanish with representatives from France, Germany, Switzerland, Italy and Portugal.

For the final competition, each bartender must defend their vision of the Mediterranean and express their inspirations into three categories Cocktail: Mediterranean Martini, Gin & MediterraneanTonic Cocktail and Mare Nostrum.

The evaluation of the creations presented, take into account the appearance, aroma, taste and creativity of each cocktail.

During the final contest Gin Mare Mediterranean-inspired, the bartenders have five minutes to prepare each cocktail author category.

The prestigious international jury will consist of Kate Pass (Imbibe Magazine), Alan Lodge (The Spirits Business), Simon Davis (Drinks International), Sean Robin (Calloh Calley), Edmund Weil (Nightjar) together with the International Brand Ambassador Brand Jorge Balbotín.

There will be three winners who will receive the annual title of International Gin Brand Ambassador Mare in Europe. The prize is valued at 6,000 pounds to the winner, 3,000 pounds for second place and 1,500 pounds for the third.

Also participating will conduct a promotional tour, as brand ambassadors at events Gin VIP Mare in 2011 and 2012.

Vila Mare final stage of Ibiza town is a luxurious and minimalist, famous for its stunning views and ideal for enjoying the sunset from Na Xamena.

Mare Vila Ibiza is an ephemeral space that will host the final of the contest organized by Mediterranean Inspirations that will suit the needs of the event, creating a unique environment for bartenders to enjoy a pleasant atmosphere.
